Things are starting to look up finally. My mom took a turn for the best and as of right now she is doing great compared to how she was. She decided that she wanted to come home and so she did. They brought a hospital bed out to her house, and she has a nurse come out every other day to check up on her and do her physical therapy. She can't really use her left arm or leg, and thats due to a little stroke she had during her last episode. But, I couldn't be happier seeing my mom finally out of the hospital. She's got a long road of recovery, but she's fighting the entire way and I'm proud of her. Christmas time was great. It was hectic, having to go to 3 different dinners, but it was worth it and I had a great time with all of the family, and our girls had a blast with all of their presents. My youngest, who turns 2 in June, was actually able to unwrap presents this year and have fun with it. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and that everyone has a happy and safe New Year!
